How to Create Engaging Content for your Network Marketing Business

How to Create Engaging Content for your Network Marketing Business

Writing compelling content for your network marketing business is a key pillar of your strategy for success. Learn tips and tricks for shaping content for network marketers here.

Facebook has more than 2.5 billion monthly users. While all of those people may not be on your friends list, you never know if you have what it takes to make a viral post.

While going viral may be a bit of a reach for network marketing posts, there are a lot of things you can do to create engaging content that attracts people that want to make a purchase.

Start by reviewing your analytics for previous posts and look at what worked for you in the past so that you can replicate those results in the future.

You can also ask your audience to get involved by sharing what they would like to see you post on your business page. But, that’s not all. Check out our tips and tricks for creating engaging content for network marketers.

Make Your Network Marketing Posts Entertaining and Inspirational

Most of the content you create will likely be posted to Facebook - a platform designed for entertainment. Make sure your posts are relevant to your audience and send some laughs across their feed.

Sharing a humorous quote or poll, passing along funny memes, and putting yourself out there by telling funny personal stories can all go a long way.

You can also share fun facts that are relevant to your niche, before and after pictures, and stories about the people who benefit from your industry.

Establish Yourself as an Expert

As a network marketer, you likely choose a product you are passionate about and have done a lot of research into the ingredients and programs that make it powerful. Sharing your expert knowledge with people who follow you online can help them become more informed and likely to buy from you.

Consider sharing posts backed by medical professionals, information from news sources, and links to case studies that are relevant to your niche.

Create Opportunities for Interaction

It’s not just about the content you put out there, but also the feedback you get back that makes a great post. Always consider how you are encouraging people to react to your posts.

End them with a call to action, a poll, or a question that leads them to make a comment so that you can interact with your followers on your posts in a public forum.

Connect with Your Audience Through Challenges and Giveaways

Challenges and giveaways are a great way to encourage your followers to share your posts with their own network. Consider a product giveaway to those that leave a comment, or like and share your post.

Make sure you establish a challenge clock so that people have time to share your post before you choose a winner. It’s good to set the clock to no more than a week so that people stay engaged with the competition and are excited about winning.

Craft a Stellar Sales Post

One of the best ways to write a great sales post is to check out what your competition is doing by viewing their Page Insights. At the bottom of the “Page Insights” page on Facebook, there should be a button where you can add pages to watch and view their top performing posts.

Check to see if any of your competitors have sales posts that are doing well. What did they talk about in their post? How long was it? Did they add images? How much did they mention their products?

In network marketing sales, you should always follow the 80/20 rule. 80% of your content should be informational and entertaining, while 20% of your content should feature a call to action that encourages people to buy your products.

Add the Right Hashtags

Hashtags are great for boosting your engagement on Instagram. But, the same isn’t true for Facebook. Research indicates when you add as few as two to three hashtags to a Facebook post, engagement drops.

So, what are hashtags for on Facebook?

Everytime you add a hashtag to a Facebook post, Facebook adds a URL to it so that when other users search for that term, your content comes up.

The problem is, not a lot of people search hashtags on Facebook. Unless you have a very tech-savvy friend group, you can probably avoid using too many of them unless you’re running a hashtag campaign as part of a challenge or giveaway.

Keeping Up with Social Media Posting for Network Marketers

Now that you have some ideas for the kind of content you want to put on your Facebook page, it’s important that you start posting regularly. Sharing consistent content lets your customers know that you are available when they need to make a purchase.
